Through the generosity of customers and staff, Sainsbury’s Pontypridd helped the Pontypridd Royal British Legion raise a massive £7,400.
The British Legion is the United Kingdom’s biggest armed forces charity and the total amount collected, nationwide, will be spent on:
- Health and Welfare issues
- Running the Legion Care Homes and Break Centres
- To fund the four Personnel recovery centres in both the UK and Germany;
- To provide essential welfare services to our beneficiaries.
The amount collected at the Pontypridd store will be an integral part of the Legion’s Welfare Programme 2014.
