World of Words (WOW) assist 7 to 11 year olds with their confidence and self esteem via the mediums of literacy and language. The well being scheme has helped over 2000 children in 19 schools and the programme returns to action at several educational institutions during 2015/16.
WOW wishes to thank Penygraig resident Paul Stevens (Screw) for his colossal courage and immense industry on completion of a successful sky dive at Swansea Airport. Paul lost close to three stones in order to complete his fundraising act and the support of his family and friends also deserves a huge dose of gratitude. An amazing turn out on the day of the dive also paid homage to Paul and his awesome act that has assisted WOW with their aspirations to help more youngsters.
