The Charlatans have announced details of a full UK tour for 2017. Kicking off at Nottingham’s Rock City on November 29th the band play eleven dates in total, taking in Brixton Academy on December 9th before finishing in Belfast on the 11th. The band, Mark Collins on guitar, Martin Blunt on bass, Tim Burgess vocals and Tony Rogers on keyboards will be joined by The Verve’s Pete Salisbury on drums
The band releases their new album on May 26th. ‘Different Days’ features an array of special guests including Paul Weller, Johnny Marr and New Order’s Stephen Morris and is already receiving rave reviews – Q described it simply as “A wondrous record” and first single ‘Plastic Machinery’ went straight on the A list at 6Music.
