Following the release of our original ‘Our Valleys song’ in July, which was
written and recorded by Kizzy Crawford and local school children from
across the Valleys in support of the Welsh Government’s Valleys Taskforce,
we have now launched a pop-up event ‘Valleys Pianos’!

Working with artist Luke Jerram and ‘Play me, I’m yours’ 10 locally
decorated pianos have been scattered across the Valleys for the public to
get creative and have some fun! The aim of this project is to get the
public to their own local communities and to invite them to visit local
attractions.

Full 10 list of locations that are currently hosting pianos are the
following:

– Pontardawe Arts Centre
– Gwyn Hall , Neath
– Glynneath Training Centre

– Bryngarw Country Park
– Redhouse Cymru, Merthyr
– Welsh Mining Experience, Rhondda Heritage Park

– Parc Bryn Bach
– Cwmcarn Forest (15th August) Cwmcarn Forest Drive

– Cwmbran Centre
– National Lido of Wales, Lido Ponty

August)
