Two cult legends who came forth out of the punk scene unite for dates. The Nightingales (featuring Rob Lloyd formerly of The Prefects) along with Subway Sect have proved themselves to have many more facets to their performances than just the rebel rousing and demonic drive of the late 70’s rock revolution. The Nightingales have been regular visitors to the principlaity over the last several years, including a date at The Factory, Porth. However, The ‘Gales plus a Vic Goodard led Subway Sect headline the Saturday element of Wales Goes Pop on April 20. The forthcoming gigs are:
The Nightingales + Vic Godard & Johnny Britton with the Subway Sect
April 18th Edinburgh, Voodoo Rooms Speakeasy
April 19th Hebden Bridge, Trades Club
April 20th Cardiff, The Gate – Wales Goes Pop! Festival
April 21st Wolverhampton, Newhampton Arts Centre
