The Specials are celebrating their 40th Anniversary with a new album entitled Encore plus an accompanying tour promoting new material plus those golden yesteryear hits. The band has a set of 2019 shows including a Cardiff date on Sunday, April 21.
The band’s classic tracks are still pertinent as regards their social commentary and the stage presentations continue to instigate a dance fever that remains as unparalleled! There have been line up changes since the early days but The Specials are still one of the primary live experiences in UK rock history and their ska-punk mantra led the way for a whole host of other bands to follow from the late 70’s onwards to the current day.
See them live in 2019 with a Cardiff University on Sunday, April 21, 7.30pm.
