Cambrian Village Trust walking footballers recorded a resounding win in their first game of 2021 and that result was scored as only four training sessions have been recorded since the pandemic lockdowns have enabled sporting action. The Clydach Vale 3G based team combined recognised players with new blood but came away with a handsome victory against their Port Talbot Steelmen opponents. The sessions are going from strength to strength in the Rhondda and after just a handful of gatherings an amazing twenty-nine different people have attended the Sunday morning gatherings which are held between 11am and 12 noon. It is £3 each and just turn up – everyone is welcome.
