The RCT children’s literacy and well-being programme World of Words I.e. www.worldofwords.education is back in a few schools after a covid lay off. The innovative initiative of WOW has helped many youngsters across 20 schools and other avenues during its
ten year existence. To add to its in school schedule and stimulating sessions the project uses guest speakers and role models to extend the learning and experiences of its young members.
The acclaimed author Jenny Sullivan originates form Wales but now lives in France and she has already conducted a couple of online Q & A classes which have been very popular in current WOW partner schools Ton Pentre Juniors and Cwmclydach Primary as well as Parc Primary.
Other attractions are also lined up including appearances form the multi-talented artist, musician and wordsmith Sion Tomos Owen and the artist/sculptor, Barry Lewis with other guests lined up further down the line.
